About Us

At Lake Elmo Creamery, we believe ice cream is more than just a treat—it’s an experience that brings people together. Founded by St. Croix Valley residents, our locally owned creamery is all about community, fun, and great flavors.

A Hometown Gathering Place

We set out to create a space where families, friends, and neighbors can come together to enjoy a scoop (or two or three!) of goodness. Whether you’re stopping by after a game, taking a break on a summer afternoon, or making it a weekend tradition, Lake Elmo Creamery is here to serve up smiles and sweet memories.

The Origin of Our Name: Lake Elmo Creamery

 Our name is a nod to Lake Elmo’s deep roots in dairy farming. Back in the early 1900s, this community was a major hub for farmers — with creameries, a grain elevator, and a busy downtown built around the railroad.


Today, while we work with trusted suppliers, we’re proud to carry forward that local spirit and bring something fresh and joyful to Lake Elmo.
